Our bedding & accessories range has been produced without the use of harmful chemicals, soaps and washes, and there are no mould deterrents & fire retardants sprayed onto the products. All of our accessories offer varying certifications, to ensure your product is truly safe and free from toxic substances.

A great quality of natural & organic materials is the breathability! There is nothing worse than a sweaty night sleep when you feel trapped in a sauna of synthetic materials.

By choosing to shop all-natural, you’re protecting yourself, your family and Mother Nature from these toxic chemicals.

Pillow preference is incredibly subjective and the best way to find what pillow is right for you is to try them in one of our showrooms, Sydney or on the Gold Coast, or stockists.

Our wool pillows are an excellent option if you like the feel of a fibre pillow, cocooning & moulding to your head when weight is applied. Wool has the additional benefit of being an excellent natural thermoregulator to keep you cool on hot summer nights. Our three wool pillow options vary in height to suit a wide range of needs.

The latex pillows in our range are made from carbon neutralised, Certified Organic latex and have been designed for both comfort and support. They are naturally hypo-allergenic, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and dust-mite resistant, making them especially great for anyone sensitive to smells and chemicals. In comparison to our other pillows, latex is usually said to feel as though your head is resting on top, rather than sinking into the pillow and we offer a variety of different heights, shapes and firmnesses to suit a wide array of needs.

The duck down pillows are a great option if you are looking for a super soft pillow that moulds to your head shape completely. The feathers are sourced from the food industry, thereby utilising a material that would normally be discarded to waste.

Our buckwheat hull pillow will mould to the shape of your head & neck, and offers firm support. It has a zipper on the pillow cover so hulls can be added or removed to make the pillow fuller or flatter. This pillow does rustle when you move your head but we have heard it soon becomes unnoticeable. It's not like most generic pillows. More similar in feel to a heat pack but with a little more give (and lighter) as the hulls are 'empty’. Do not put this pillow in the microwave or oven.

With so many options on the market for mattress and pillow protectors, we’ve kept our range simple but practical, and of course, non-toxic! From our three options, you can choose GOTS Certified Organic Cotton which offers superior breathability and a luxurious, quilted design, our water-resistant Tencel for additional protection, or our all-natural Cotton protector as a great in-between option.

Our cotton protectors offer an extra layer of padding, unlike the Tencel, while also acting as a barrier between you and your mattress or pillow. They are not water-resistant but can assist in managing perspiration as cotton is great for thermoregulation and is very breathable. Our Tencel range, on the other hand, is a great water-resistant option with the underside consisting of a one-way polyurethane membrane, for that additional protection. The material softens with washes over time and is quite thin so shouldn't change the feel of your mattress or pillow.

All of our protectors are Certified to OEKO TEX Standard 100.

Our beautiful linen range is made from 100% French grown flax and is pre-washed for a relaxed look and feel. Breathable and absorbent, this range help will keep you cool in summer and snug in winter.

With the Oeko-Tek Standard 100 certification, these beautiful sheets & quilt covers are certified free of harmful chemicals and deemed safe for human use. Flame retardants are also not used in the manufacturing process and the dyes are non-toxic. If you are looking for the most natural option in this range, choosing the Natural colour variant is the way to go as it has not been dyed.

Yes! You can choose from Organic Cotton or Organic Wool when it comes to your quilt.

The Australian handcrafted Organic Wool quilts we offer are the ultimate in luxury and comfort. Made with 100% Organic Wool sourced in Victoria, the wool is lightly needled for stability and then sewn at the farm into a natural, unbleached & 100% GOTS Certified Organic cotton casing. Unlike polyester, which is a synthetic material that is toxic and can cause overheating, wool is naturally breathable and a great temperature regulator. These quilts can be used in a variety of night temperatures and we offer a summer weight which is equivalent to approximately 2 blankets, or a winter weight which is equivalent to approximately 4 blankets. Our wool quilts are also naturally flame and dust mite resistant due to the residual natural lanolin that has not been stripped from the wool, this usually occurs during harsh chemical processes like carbonisation.

We also have an Organic Cotton Quilt which is great if you live in a hot climate or are a hot sleeper. At 200gsm, this lightweight quilt is very breathable, with both the filling and cover made from 100% Certified Organic Cotton as well as being GOTS certified. If you are looking to add a light layer while you sleep, our Organic Cotton quilt could be the perfect choice for you.

Each Organic Latex pillow comes with a removable and washable (cool water) Certified Organic Cotton cover, please do not attempt to wash the latex itself and keep the bare latex out of direct sunlight as this will cause it to lose elasticity & become hard. Our Organic Wool and Low Profile/Kids Wool pillows cannot be washed. Spot clean for stains/spills and air regularly in direct sunlight to rejuvenate the wool. The life of your pillow can be extended if you place it on its side each morning so that it can air off during the day. The use of a pillow protector is also a great way to increase the lifespan of your pillow, as a guide this can be as long as 5 years.

The Organic Wool quilts we offer cannot be washed. Similar to the wool pillows, spot clean for stains/spills and air regularly in direct sunlight to rejuvenate the wool. Our Organic Cotton quilt option is machine washable in cold or lukewarm water (30°) and line dried. Any stains can be spot-treated with a mild, natural solution.

The Natural Bedding Company has been handcrafting healthy, natural bedding for more than three decades. We’ve endeavoured to source the best natural materials available in order to create our stunning range. Customers in Queensland can now visit our new Gold Coast store which showcases our full range of natural pillows, mattresses and furniture.

Certified to the GOTS and OEKO-TEX 100 standards, the organic latex we use is naturally flame retardant, dust mite-resistant, hypo-allergenic, antibacterial and antifungal. The latex is subject to strict regulations at every stage of the production process to ensure our sustainable pillows are free from harmful toxins and have very low-VOCs.

Complete Head & Neck Support

Designed in Australia, our selection of natural pillows provides comfort and support for a range of pillow preferences. Our contour latex pillow features a flat underside to provide a stable base with the contour running along the pillow’s topside to encourage the natural alignment of your spine when laying upon it. Similarly, the standard latex pillow has been ergonomically designed to consider comfort and proper resting posture. This pillow has an elliptical shape with a firm edge and more cushioned core that ensures your head can sit comfortably while your neck receives the support it needs.

Benefits of a Latex Pillow

Made entirely from organic and natural materials, our eco pillows are very low in VOCs and ideal for a low-tox home. The exclusion of synthetic contaminants helps to prevent irritation and makes an organic latex pillow ideal for allergy sufferers or those with chemical sensitivities.

Latex is a robust material that rebounds to keeps its shape and provide lasting support. Our sustainable pillows afford premier comfort and assist in postural alignment with their natural elasticity.

Cool, Breathable Sleep

Unlike chemically treated pillows which can release harmful irritants after interacting with the body’s natural heat, every pillow in our range is designed to be low-tox and healthy. Some materials can create heat, but this is not the case with our organic latex which utilises a breathable open cell structure that assists in heat dissipation.

The Australian made pillows in our range, handcrafted from natural and organic wool, are ideal for hot sleepers due to the wool’s natural thermoregulating properties. These pillows wick away moisture to keep you cool and are perfect for warmer climates such as Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast.

High Profile Pillows

For those needing a pillow with a higher profile, our organic latex eco pillows can be made with either an outer layer of wool or encased in a duck down cover. The down is certified to the Responsible Down Standard and provides a luxurious soft surface to sink into before you feel the support of the organic latex. The organic latex & wool pillow is slightly less soft but offers a similar plush feel. It also takes advantage of the natural thermoregulating properties of wool to help keep you comfortable in all seasons. These high-profile natural pillows can be made with either a contoured or elliptical organic latex core.

Sustainably Sourced, Ethically Made

The organic latex used in our non toxic pillows is sourced from sustainable plantations in Sri Lanka. We’ve worked hard to find a business partner that shares our values – respecting the environment and paying workers a fair wage. All the latex is harvested in a low-impact and sustainable process with the trees being tapped so that their sap can be collected without damaging the tree.

Product Care

Our organic latex pillows are made with a removable/washable (cool water) certified organic cotton cover. Please be advised, the latex insert itself is not washable.

For pillows made from organic latex with an outer layer of natural wool, we recommend airing the pillow regularly airing the pillow in sunlight and spot cleaning for any minor stains. This pillow is not washable. If you are finding your latex and wool pillow to be too high in profile, you may unzip the cover and remove the wool layer.

The natural wool pillows in our range are handcrafted from pure, untreated wool, sourced from Victoria and South Australia. These pillows are not washable. To care for these Australian made pillows and keep the wool refreshed, please air the pillow often in direct sunlight. Please do not attempt to remove the cover or you may permanently misshape your pillow.
