Bedside tables
Reserved and understated, our timber bedside tables are the perfect partners for your bed frame. Utilising a sleek, minimalist style, these timeless pieces can seamlessly join a range of bedrooms without losing their own character. Handcrafted from Tasmanian Oak before being finished with a plant-based sealer in a range of colours.
As well as space above the bedside for your latest books or a reading lamp, the Huey timber bedside table also offers one or two convenient push-release drawers for discreet storage. For a more open design, you may choose to go with an accessible shelf instead of the drawer.
Responsibly Sourced Timber
Tasmanian Hardwood Oak – The core of our timber bed frames and timber bedside tables, this beautiful native timber makes a fine addition to any bedroom. Sustainably sourced from certified forests in Victoria, this timber is taken in accordance with government guidelines as well as the Forest Stewardship Council and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification. The timber does not undergo any chemical treatments, instead being kiln-dried for its strength and to eliminate pests and microbes.
Untreated Radiata Pine – Quality natural pine from the forests of Australia and New Zealand, this timber is a key part of our Lo-line timber bed bases. Untreated and kiln-dried, the timber retains the benefits of increased strength and removed pests without the use of any harmful toxins.
Thoughtfully Crafted
Made to order so we can tailor the piece to your bedroom, our custom timber bed bases and timber bedside tables are handcrafted by our dedicated team. For some timber bed frames, leg length as well as headboard positioning can be adjusted to suit your available space and current mattress height. The final step in our production process brings a personal touch by applying a low-tox wood stain in the colour of your choice.

A double mattress is 137cm wide and comes in two lengths, the standard 188cm or a longer 193cm for taller sleepers. Because every mattress is made to order, we can confirm the exact size with you before we build it.
No, latex tends to sleep cooler than memory foam. Its open cell structure lets air move through the mattress rather than trapping heat against you, and the natural wool layer helps regulate temperature, so it stays comfortable on warmer nights as well as cold ones.
A well-made natural latex mattress can last 15 to 20+ years, considerably longer than most conventional spring mattresses, because latex is durable and holds its shape over time. A little care extends that further. Checking the underside for moisture and using a slatted base for airflow will get you the most years out of it.
A double comfortably suits one person who likes room to spread out. Two adults can share one, but at 137cm wide it gives each person around 68cm, which is narrower than a single bed. If you sleep two every night and want more space, a queen is usually the better choice. A double is ideal for solo sleepers, guest rooms and smaller bedrooms.
Because every mattress is handcrafted to order in our Sydney workshop, it is not an off-the-shelf product, so allow time for us to make yours.
